CeiConnect is a student-built pseudonymous chat service and is not affiliated with the University of Windsor. Group chat history may be stored for up to 60 days. Uploaded images may be temporarily stored and served through a third-party cloud provider in order to operate the service.
By using CeiConnect, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
We recommend this service for users 18+ because pseudonymous chat can involve mature or unpredictable interactions.
CeiConnect provides pseudonymous 1-on-1 matching, a public group chat, and may allow users to upload images as part of the service. The service is provided as-is and as-available, and we do not guarantee uptime, message delivery, or uninterrupted access.
You may not use the service to post or promote harassment, hate speech, threats, violence, doxxing, private personal information, sexual content involving minors, illegal activity, scams, spam, or malware links.
We may update, change, restrict, or discontinue parts of the service at any time without notice.
You are responsible for the content you submit, including messages and uploaded images. You keep ownership of your content, but you grant us permission to host, store, process, and display it as needed to operate, deliver, and maintain the service.
Do not share sensitive personal information. If meeting someone offline, prioritize safety and do not meet alone.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the service is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
You agree to indemnify CeiConnect and its operators for claims resulting from your misuse or violation of these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we materially change them, we may ask you to review and accept the updated version again before using chat features.
These terms are governed by Ontario and applicable Canadian law.
